Studio Lead [Full Time]
Small Victories is a creative stationery and accessories studio seeking a Studio Lead who is highly motivated, optimistic, and detail-oriented. We’re looking for someone who can join us no later than April 15 and help us ensure that our customers receive accurate and timely orders. As Studio Lead, you will be responsible for creating and communicating daily priorities for our small production and fulfillment team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing daily operations, leadership communication, inventory management, and order management. Previous experience in a studio environment or with e-commerce is also helpful.
We are a small, independent wholesale and retail business in an exciting time of growth. The Small Victories studio is home to two brands: The Bower Studio and Gamut Pins.
The Bower Studio specializes in plantable greeting cards with original artwork, while Gamut Pins designs and sells enamel pronoun pins. The Studio Lead will direct and work alongside Studio Assistants to print, fold, and assemble cards, as well as package enamel pin orders for shipment.

Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operations throughout the studio on a daily basis through supervision of team tasks while iterating and improving systems and processes.
- Train studio assistants on production and fulfillment processes, set employee task performance expectations and priorities, and support employees in their completion of daily operations.
- Maintain an organized and cleanly studio environment, ensure equipment is in good order, and monitor product quality.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and product, support inventory checks made by the Administrative Assistant in our resource and planning software, and order studio supplies.
- Manage orders of finished product across all channels, respond to marketplace messages and order-related emails and phone calls, and oversee timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Be a member of the production and fulfillment team in contributing to the manufacturing and shipping of our products.
- Participate in weekly strategy meetings to give any relevant updates, and gain any needed support.
- Work hand-in-hand with other studio members on operational tasks.
- Fabricate Small Victories products that are made in-house with specialized tools.
- Pick and check wholesale and retail orders.
- Pack orders to ensure that they meet carrier and studio guidelines and that items are protected in transit.
- Create shipping labels, mark orders shipped, and ensure that packages go out in a timely fashion.
- Represent Small Victories through our products, packaging, and processes. This may also include assisting at in-person events where you may respond to customer questions and check out customers with our POS system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a small creative team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer service support
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Faire, Etsy and Shopify
- Experience in wholesale or retail production or fulfillment
- Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills
- Ability to work efficiently and adaptively in a rapidly evolving environment
- Reliable and able to commit to a flexible but consistent work schedule
- Familiarity with computers (PC & Mac), printers, and online systems such as Google Drive
- Ability to learn and use workflow applications (e.g. Discord) on a personal device for internal team communication and task management
- Comfortable with extended periods of standing, sitting and working at a desk — using hands and wrists frequently
Preferred Skills (not required)
- Familiarity with Katana or a similar MRP
- Paper craft and/or digital printing
Hours & Schedule
- This position requires in-person, full-time work at our studio - 116 Pleasant St, Easthampton, MA 01027
- Flexible schedule available
- Must be available to work 38-40 hours per week
- Training will take place Monday-Friday
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.72 / hour
- Annual salary based on 38 hours per week is $38,000
- PTO time
- Health Insurance provided with 80% of the cost covered by Small Victories

- Applicants should be comfortable around dogs. We have friendly dogs who come to work with us occasionally.
- Please note that our studio can get quite warm in the summer months, sometimes reaching 80+ degrees Fahrenheit mid day. As such, applicants must be comfortable working in a warm environment and able to perform physical tasks in these conditions, or work evening shifts.

Studio Assistant [Part Time]

As a Studio Assistant, you will be responsible for producing and packaging Small Victories products while ensuring that orders are filled and shipped accurately. Previous experience in a studio environment or with e-commerce is preferred but not required.

- $15.00 - $18.00 / hour dependent on level of experience and other relevant knowledge
